For those who are looking for a setup for your wheel, feel free to try some of these, or post up your own settings that you find work for you for others to try.
To start, here are my settings for the Thrustmaster TX 458 Iatlia wheel
All global wheel settings at zero except the following
Deadzone zero Speed sensitivity 60
For the standard rim Scoop knee 0.50 Scoop reduction 0.49
For the GTE RIM Scoop knee 0.46 Scoop reduction 0.45
I also leave all car FFB settings at default
For those who have the Logitech G920 wheel I recommend the following
Deadzone zero Speed sensitivity around 60 or your preference Scoop knee 0.35 Scoop reduction 0.25
The scoop figures have come about after a lot of discussion and testing over on the Project Cars forum, and wheel FFB analysis using Wheel Check, to find the actual wheel FFB output response to the game's FFB software output to the the wheel. The numbers reflect an attempt to give a linear response where the wheel is generating too much response at the beginning when the forces should be less and the FFB flattening out when forces should be greater.
